Description

This mod is intended to control the mosfet for reverse polarity more precisely, by fully opening the mosfet when voltage of the cell is above 0.7 volts and inserted in the proper way.

This will fix the following issues that you might experience using the older version of megacell charger:

1. Reverse polarity mosfet overheatings when discharging a cell under 3V
2. Disposal process might not go all the way down to 1V because there is not enough voltage to keep the mosfet on
3. Non-linear resistance of the mosfet. The resistance of the mosfet is taken into account when doing ESR at 4.2 volts, but on lower voltage, 3.7 for example, the resistance of the mosfet will change and cause an improper reading of the ESR. This will be solved by keeping the mosfet all the way on all the time.
